If you get your self-esteem from people, workplaces, accomplishments, or things it's only going to last about one minute! #sashatalks
Example: one day I had a massive headache, super exhausted, no energy, super pregnant ( that's its own list right there) + wanting to crawl in bed ( but can't). On top of that, add regular life responsibilities we all have + extra "stuff" going on in my world.
I said out loud: Sasha! You are a badass! You are growing a baby inside you. You are a super wonderful + giving mom + daughter + wife + friend.
You are a hard worker, who is running a business + pushing through. You are smart. You are healthy + looking good mama!
You are uplifting + positive 99% of the time, even when you feel like shit!
GO YOU! You are freaking amazing!
( and i'm saying all this to myself out loud, as I am pre-making a healthy family dinner for later)
AND I FELT IT + I meant all of it!
Yes, we all need + crave to be appreciated + seen + heard + loved! At work, at home + every area of our lives. And I am! So blessed.
BUT, throughout the day we all experience different feelings + needs. We are allowed to FEEL. Exactly what we feel. We are allowed to have needs.
Every day we can cheer ourselves on + fill our own cups + be our own life preserver + our own biggest cheerleader.
Because you go to sleep with YOUR mind + YOUR heart + YOUR body + YOUR SOUL! Feed it.
It's called " VALUE"! Value yourself.
You are in control of your attitude.
I know you all can relate on some level!! So...
Tips:
read affirmations.
Listen to empowering + uplifting music.
Connect with role models.
Fill up your spiritual cup with your Higher Power.
Read books.
Listen to podcasts.
Create an environment that fills you.
Journal or write on Post-it's cheerful + loving notes to yourself.
Rewire old beliefs that no longer serve you.
Get outside + in nature.
Stop the victim mentality when it starts + replace it with a warrior attitude.
